Will Invigorated Water filters function with water sources other than tap, such as streams, rainwater, or well water?
Tap, well, bottled, distilled, and RO waters can all be used in all of our units. Our filters are not for use with water from the wild (lake, stream, pond, river water) as these require additional safety measures like boiling or water purification tablets to be considered safe for drinking.
Are Invigorated Water filters gluten-free?
While we do not use gluten in our products, we cannot guarantee that other items produced in the manufacturing plant do not contain gluten, so there is a possibility of cross-contamination. The manufacturing location produces products for other companies, and we do not know all of the ingredients these companies use. Anyone with severe gluten sensitivity/allergy should use caution.
Can water filtered using Invigorated Water products be given to a baby?
We recommend consulting your healthcare provider for advice since babies have specific nutritional requirements.
Does coffee affect the pH or benefits of alkaline water?
The pH of coffee naturally tends to be lower due to its acidic compounds, which can cause the overall pH to drop when combined with any water, even alkaline or pH-enhanced water. However, the benefits of using high-quality water in coffee are not solely about pH balance; it also improves the taste and purity of your coffee by reducing impurities. So, while the pH may decrease, the water quality you're using still positively impacts the taste and overall experience of your coffee.
I have concerns about the TDS reading I'm getting with my Invigorated Water filter installed. What can I do?
For clarification, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) measures the concentration of dissolved substances in the water, and while some competitors may use TDS as an indicator, this isn’t effective for testing alkaline water. Our PH001 filter works by adding essential minerals to the water to raise its alkalinity, which may actually cause the TDS to increase slightly—this is normal and shows that minerals are being added to improve water quality. It's important to note that activated carbon filters, like our PH001, are not designed to affect Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). This is because carbon filters function through ion exchange, which isn't accurately reflected in TDS readings. To confirm the filter's performance, we recommend using a water test kit.

Why does my water have a metallic, bitter or strange taste?
There are a few possible reasons why your water may taste bitter, metallic or strange:
1. High mineral content: we are adding over 20 trace beneficial such as calcium, magnesium and zinc. Even if you've drank alkaline water before, our can have a different taste.
2. Your body is becoming accustomed to drinking alkaline water. After 2-3 weeks, the bitter/metallic taste should feel less noticeable.
3. Water source: if the source of water is from a metal pipe that has high levels of metal ions, it may have a metallic taste.
